Puddle Ducks Nursery

Our nursery provides funded early education (FEET, 15 and 30 hours) for 2, 3 and 4 year olds and offers an extended day between 8.50am and 3pm.

The nursery at our setting offers children an opportunity to have a high quality educational start in life, learning through play indoors and in our extensive outdoor facilities.

Chilworth C of E Infant School is an Ofsted Outstanding school, with enthusiastic teaching and support staff of the highest quality. Our school pupil attainment is above the national and Surrey averages for reading, writing and maths. We have a long established Forest School, run in the adjacent Outstanding Area of Natural beauty, Chilworth Gunpowder Mills woodland and on our school site.  Our qualified Nursery Nurse, is an accomplished Forest School leader, highly competent at delivering the Early Years Curriculum.

Our site is set in a beautiful location with the backdrop of St. Martha's Hill. The large tarmacked playground has a trikes and bikes & playtime resources garage, an extensive school playing field, Wildlife Area and a new adventure playground. Our school is a friendly, caring community, passionate about providing an excellent education and wide life experiences for the children in its care.

We provide a broad and balanced curriculum, which excites and stimulates each child’s desire to learn,

  • Providing a social and moral environment in which each child respects the views, feelings and beliefs of everyone.
  • Encouraging children to reach their full potential whilst having the confidence to risk failure. Developing their independence from day one.
  • Developing self-confidence, independence and raising awareness of the responsibilities of good citizenship and care of the environment.
  • Enabling children to make choices that will keep them safe and healthy.
