Churches
Our school is in the church parish of Chilworth, with Albury not far away, in the ‘united benefice’ of Shere, Albury and Chilworth. Both parishes are delighted to support us as a Church of England School, and they do this (in normal times) by involvement with the school and its life, through Chilworth’s nomination of some of the Governors, by taking of assemblies, and by Albury’s ‘Open the Book’ Team coming to bring Bibles stories to life. St Thomas’s Chilworth has services for the School at Christmas, Easter, and Harvest and on other special occasions, including a Leavers’ Service in the summer term. Our churches will be looking for more ways to get involved again in the School’s life after all the pandemic restrictions ease.
The churches are friendly and are always happy to see families at any of their normal services. You can find out more about them from their online information (details below) or by emailing the contacts given.
